Clip on Windows

To stop, start or restart the Clip service on a Windows system, please use the "Windows Services" tool:

As an alternative, you can use a CMD window running with elevated rights and run "net start clip" / "net stop clip".

Clip on Linux

On Linux, open a shell window and execute the "service" command: 

  1. run "service clip start" to start Clip
  2. run "service clip stop" to stopClip
  3. run "service clip restart" to restart Clip
